TRON Account Security in Trust Wallet
Trust Wallet is built as a multi-chain wallet first, which means TRON's specific permission system isn't front and center in its interface.
What Trust Wallet shows you
Trust Wallet displays your TRON balance, transaction history, and lets you send and receive — the essentials most users need. What it doesn't surface prominently is the account's underlying Owner/Active permission structure, since that's a TRON-specific concept its interface wasn't built around.
Why that matters for imported wallets
If you import a TRON account into Trust Wallet using a seed phrase you didn't generate yourself, the app will show you a balance without telling you whether the account's permissions have already been reassigned elsewhere. A visible balance and actual control are not the same thing.
Checking it separately
Since Trust Wallet doesn't surface this, use a dedicated TRON permission checker with the account's address to see the Owner and Active keys directly from chain data, independent of what any wallet app displays.
