What SafePal focuses on
SafePal's design centers on offline key storage and secure signing, protecting against the most common threat: key extraction by malware or a compromised device. That's a different problem from account-level permission tampering, which happens entirely on-chain.
The blind spot for imported accounts
Importing a TRON account into SafePal from a seed phrase you received from someone else carries the same risk as with any wallet: the app will show you a balance without verifying who else might already hold authority over that account.
Closing the gap
Check the account's Owner and Active permissions directly via a dedicated tool before relying on any balance shown in SafePal, especially for accounts you didn't generate yourself from a fresh seed.
